Academic Standards & Recognition
Fecundus Academy is a private, Catholic-inspired, Preschool–Grade 12 school established in the State of Texas.
Texas does not require private schools to be accredited or licensed by the state. Private schools in Texas operate independently and are responsible for their own academic standards, records, and credentials.
As a Texas private school, Fecundus Academy maintains official academic records and transcripts, awards high school credit, and confers a High School Diploma.

Our legal standing
Fecundus Academy is not yet accredited.
In Texas, private school accreditation is granted by agencies recognized by the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC), which works in coordination with the Texas Education Agency. TEPSAC-recognized accreditation is what allows credits earned at a private school to transfer to Texas public schools and what places a school in the official Texas School Directory.
Accreditation requires a school to demonstrate a sustained institutional track record. As a young school, we are building toward that. We expect to formally begin our accreditation process in 2026. We will publish our progress on this page.
What this means for your family today: our transcripts are legally valid, our diploma is legally conferred, and our students are admitted to universities. It also means that families transferring into a Texas public school mid-enrollment may be subject to that district's credit-review process, and that some selective universities will evaluate our graduates through their non-traditional applicant pathway. We prepare every student, and every student's file, with that reality in mind.

Where we stand on accreditation

Academic excellence is sustained through clearly defined graduation requirements, ongoing academic assessment, and continuous progress monitoring. Student achievement is documented through official report cards, transcripts, and cumulative academic records, ensuring that every graduate meets the Academy's established standards while remaining prepared for future educational opportunities.
Students are prepared for higher education through a rigorous academic program, personalized learning pathways, and official transcripts documenting completed coursework and earned credits.
The high-school program prepares students for university study through a rigorous, college-preparatory sequence in English and Spanish. Required courses form the academic core; elective courses, several of which are part of each grade's Core Learning Plan, allow students to personalize their pathway according to their interests and intended field of study.

Academic achievement is validated through an annual review of each student's educational portfolio, completed coursework, and learning evidence. This process ensures that every student meets the Academy's academic expectations before report cards, transcripts, and earned credits are finalized.
Because true education forms the whole person, we walk alongside families throughout the school year, providing personalized guidance, practical resources, and meaningful mentorship that foster academic growth, virtue, and lifelong learning.
In line with this purpose, we have become a Classic Learning Test Partner School. The CLT is ideal for monitoring growth in students, as well as evaluating curriculum decisions for the following year.
