Fecundus Academy is a private Preschool - Grade 12 school in Texas dedicated to partnering with families in the formation of knowledgeable, virtuous, and independent young men and women.
Rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition, we believe that every child is uniquely created by God with extraordinary gifts and a distinct purpose. As such, we provide a personalized learning plan that meets their needs and safeguards their particular journey to sainthood. We want to make it possible for students to develop within a family-centered approach that honors the parents’ privilege to educate their children, while growing a lifelong passion for learning. We are committed to helping each student discover and develop their gifts through a personalized educational experience that nurtures both academic excellence and character.

Meet our Head of School
Ana Kane
Ana Kane, M.Ed., has devoted more than 45 years to education, impacting the lives of over 20,000 children and teens through teaching, school leadership, and educational innovation. She holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Education and has served for more than two decades as Principal and academic leader at distinguished schools in Mexico.
Throughout her career, Ana has combined academic excellence with deeply personalized student support. She was a member of the founding team of Instituto Nuevo Amanecer, a pioneering school serving children with cerebral palsy, served as Principal of Instituto San Roberto's Valle Alto Campus, and later led Universidad del Valle de México's High School for fifteen years, where her campus became a model of operational excellence within the Laureate International Universities network. In recognition of her outstanding educational leadership and lasting impact on students and families, she received the prestigious Laureate Legend Award in 2017.
As Head of School, Ana leads Fecundus Academy with a vision that combines rigorous academics, personalized mentorship, and authentic Catholic formation. Her lifelong commitment to nurturing the unique potential of every child shapes the Academy's mission to prepare students for lives of purpose, service, and faithful leadership.
Co-founder & School Director
Luis R. Herrera
As Chief Executive Officer of Fecundus Ventures LLC, the Texas company that operates Fecundus Academy, Luis leads the school's strategic direction and institutional development. He serves as Registrar, overseeing enrollment, credit accrual, and the issuance of official transcripts and diplomas.
Over more than twenty years as a consultant, executive, and entrepreneur, Luis has specialized in strategy and large-scale transformation, with deep work across education, energy, automotive, consumer goods, and healthcare.
Convinced that transforming the educational model is the most important lever for transforming society, Luis joined Fecundus with a clear mission: to make the model sustainable over time and responsive to the realities families face in a period of rapid and historic change.
Before Fecundus, Luis specialized in transformational change at McKinsey & Company. He served as Director of Strategy and Transformation for the Talisis project at Grupo Topaz, where he helped conceive and launch Mexico's fastest-growing private higher education group. He founded Kausum Transformations and previously held executive roles in strategy, financial planning, and program management at Accenture Strategy, Grupo Farmacias del Ahorro, and Nemak (Grupo Alfa).
Luis holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MBA from IESE Business School, with a concentration in strategy and family business. He completed an executive program in corporate strategy at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Fernanda Rodríguez
Fernanda founded Fecundus in 2014 to equip and empower families in conscious parenting and to strengthen family unity. Over the years, the project grew into Fecundus Education and, more recently, Fecundus Academy, holding to the same purpose: cultivating family unity through family-centered education, from which children discover and transform the world.
A mother of seven, she has led her own children's education since 2016. That experience, together with her research and specialization in personalized and Gifted & Talented education, shapes the Academy's commitment to learning that adapts to each student’s reality.
Fernanda graduated with honors in Family Sciences from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family at Universidad Anáhuac. She holds a Master's in Sexuality Education and Defense of Life, and a Master's in Gifted Education and Talent Development from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR) and is a member of the NAGC. A family counselor since 2006, she has taught and lectured on marriage, family, and bioethics for more than twenty years.

Javier Kane, M.D.
Javier R. Kane, M.D., is a pediatric hematologist & oncologist, and palliative medicine physician with more than 35 years of clinical and academic experience. He dedicated his professional expertise to providing care to children suffering from cancer and other life -threatening illnesses while supporting their families with compassion and dignity.
He retired as a Professor of Pediatrics after holding leadership positions at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, the University of Texas Health Science Center and Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, and Texas A&M College of Medicine and McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple, TX.
Dr. Kane also served as Chair of the Ethics Committee at various institutions. He is a national speaker and has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications.
His commitment to academic excellence, compassionate care, and the dignity of every child brings an invaluable academic and ethical perspective to the Fecundus Academy Advisory Board.

Daniela Garza
Daniela holds a degree in International Business and guided her daughters through the Fecundus educational program for three years. As one of the program’s first families, she brings firsthand experience in personalized, family-centered education and the unique opportunities and challenges of raising gifted children.
She serves as the Parish Marriage Ministry Coordinator and leads Together in Holiness at her parish. In addition, she is an active community service volunteer and a passionate advocate for environmental stewardship through native gardening.
Her experience with personalized education and as the mother of neurodivergent children, her leadership in parish ministry, and her commitment to family formation provide valuable insight into family partnership, faith formation, and the holistic development of students at Fecundus Academy.

Daniel Rodríguez
Daniel is an Industrial Engineer with extensive experience leading teams and managing projects in the automotive industry. Together with his wife, he was among the first parents to enroll their gifted daughter in the Fecundus program and later enrolled their younger daughter as well. Their family remained part of the Fecundus community from 2020 to 2023, giving him firsthand insight into personalized education and family-centered learning.
Originally from Mexico and now residing in Michigan, Daniel has spent more than a decade living and working in the United States, providing valuable perspective on the educational and cultural experiences of bilingual families.
He is actively involved in his parish as a Knight of Columbus, serves in the Eucharistic Ministry, and supports the Marriage Ministry. His professional leadership, cross-cultural perspective, firsthand experience as a Fecundus parent, and commitment to faith and family bring valuable insight to the Fecundus Academy Advisory Board.
